Our story
Lulu & Emme is a family endeavour. Mary is the main creative force, she gets her creativity from her parents who were avid painters and sculptors. Mary believes everyone has art inside them, it just has to be cultivated. Not only does she source antique/vintage furniture and decor, she also creates art for the home out of plaster, antique fragments, and shells.
Chosen & painted with care
Mary has an affinity for French, Itailian, & Swedish furniture. She usually chooses antique pieces, keeping the hardware, ormolu, patina, & architecture of the piece into account before restoring or painting each piece. When painting she uses casein paint to be sure to maintain a finish accurate of the era.
